Congress unites global heavy oil leaders

The World Heavy Oil Congress in Venezuela opened November 3, 2009 with a standing-room only audience of over 1,000 delegates from 20 countries. Venezuela's Energy Minister Rafael Ramirez opened the Congress with a keynote address to delegates, followed by top executives from major producing companies including Chevron, Statoil, TOTAL, BP and PDVSA.
